There are many ways to be creative with your Twitter Followers. Keeping your Followers engaged and involved with what you are offering and saying is of prime importance.
As a Tweeter your success begins by keeping your followers well informed and interested. This is what you can do to engage and increase your follower loyalty.

1. Offer Promotions and Hot Deals
This is an ideal strategy that will give you added leverage. By offering hot deals to your Followers, they are bound to spread a word in their network which can be a viral way of marketing your Twitter profile effortlessly and getting the word out about your brand and business.
A fantastic idea is to introduce to your Followers a loyalty program so they can earn points towards their purchase. Dell computers have earned extra 7 million dollars by using key strategies to attract and their Followers on Twitter.
2. Product releases and launches
If you are launching or releasing a product and service, make sure you share it with your Followers. People love the word NEW…because our human brains are engineered to go for new and better objects.

A whole new way of using the internet

Have been having a few aha moments recently.
Many of these were sparked off by meeting Biz Stone of Twitter in Tokyo last month.

I invite you to throw away your traditional thinking about business cards-Around 100 yrs old and email -Around 40 years old

In Tokyo for example when we meet people now we either Poken or we get out our Iphones and follow each other on Twitter.

If I hear of someone or am introduced to them I just simply got to Twitter and quicky find all I want to know

We are in a whole new paradigm.
Viweable by anyone our twitter homepage is now our business card.
So present yourself and what you have to offer in the best way possible. Do not sell on your business card.People will throw it in the bin!
It is a relationship starter right?

Our Twitter accounts are also our new way of communicating. Email nolonger cuts it. 1 to 1 messaging will not get your name and brand out there to your friends` friends.
Nor are email messages searchable when Social Search (Web 3.0) kicks in any day.
Embrace Twitter and leverage off it to build and maintain relationships.
