I with this cool list feature, won’t it make it kind of pointless to follow people. Is it necessary to follow someone to add them to a list?

David King November 2, 2009 at 8:33 pm

I believe you have to be following someone in order to add them to a list.
That’s the point of the list is to separate who you are following so that you can follow different groups of people and segment them.

Thanks for the comment :)

Isn’t this the same feature you can use in HootSuite or TweetDeck to track your friends? Sounds like this list is public….

I’ll check it out…thanks for debunking it!

David, Please stop sending me emails from Facebook. I’m getting way too many from you.

David King November 3, 2009 at 5:51 am

It is pretty much the same thing Melanie, What they call groups twitter calls lists.
The lists is just the web version of it!

Thanks for the comment Lee, If you want to stop receiving notifications on facebook you have to unjoin the group that is sending you the messages :) Thanks!
